Workshop List

IoT Workshop:
Edison Platform with IOT Control  Using Arduino IDE

Presented by Intel Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Description:

The Internet of Things (IoT) can change the way citizens live, travel, and take care of each other. It’s a global network infrastructure that links physical and virtual objects using cloud computing, data capture, and network communications. It allows devices to communicate with each other, access information on the Internet, store and retrieve data, and interact with users, create smart, pervasive and always-connected environments.

Building IoT with the Arduino, you will learn the basic concepts and will be exposed to the features of the Internet of Things and build projects utilizing the Arduino platform. You will also discover relevant fundamental concepts of cloud computing, sensor reading and connecting the Arduino to the Internet.

The target audience for this research workshop is academic researchers— faculty, postdoctoral students, graduate students, and other researchers— who are interested in learning Arduino IDE using Edison platform for connecting and creating controls within and among devices.
