Creating Value from Data

We live in an age of data. The rapid expansion of Internet, automation and declining cost of storage are resulting in the constant generation and storage of data. The massive surge in data has resulted in the need for even cheaper storage, new unstructured database formats, and analytics tools to study structured or unstructured data.

Big data enables value to be extracted out of exponential increase in data. Data from various sensors and applications from IoT needs to be analysed. This is increasing the analytical and support services for a variety of industries, such as customer service, retail, and finance. In this new reality, everything is connected to almost everything else, and is constantly sharing data through the network while being located in distributed environment, working through many channels and devices.
